I love that saying.  If anyone knows what the hell it really means and you want to discuss, let me know.

For those of you who know me, stop asking how I feel about the elections.  I'm looking forward to the budget being balanced and the war being over in 6 months.  That's what was promised, right?

K:  Do you want to go see Dad at the train station?
E:  Os.

Should I have realized that standing on the platform with a double-decker train barrelling toward us at 50 mph, blaring a nefarious sounding "CHOOOOOO-CHOOOOO" would not be viewed as a fun event for a child that cries when you turn the vacuum or the blender on?  Maybe? 

Hi, my name is Kristen, and my inner stupidity never ceases to amaze me.  The kid is going to be in therapy over Thomas the Train.  My heart was in the right place, I swear.  I wonder when his little body will stop shaking...

      You may want to consider taking him to a construction site so he can see the big equipment, but from the saftey and with the soundproofing of the car...
